In order to provide the best possible web site content, performance, cost and support, Option Line e-Xtend provides hosting for all our web site products. Sorry, but we cannot provide any of our web site products to be hosted on a non-OptionLine eXtend web host.

What is Hosting, Anyway?

Your center's presence on the web comprises four components that work together to provide a WEBSITE with email::

1. Domain name
2. Web site
3. Hosting
4. Email accounts

For your Pregnancy Center web site to be available to people in your town, city, state, country, and, as you probably know, the world -- your web site needs to be HOSTED.. Web hosting is the practice of storing your web site's web pages, images, text, video and audio on a web server. A web server is a specialized computer whose purpose is to make web sites available to the World Wide Web --a very large audience indeed.

In addition to hosting your web site, Option Line eXtend will also provide 1 or more email accounts that will be associated with your web site.

Many companies provide web hosting services. Some provide in-house hosting for their own purposes (think Microsoft, IBM and the like) while other companies provide hosting to any individual or other company with the need to have their web site "live" somewhere.
